Mag. Verena Pirnbacher, MA, has been working as a technical writer since 2007. She studied "Applied Knowledge Management" at the FH Burgenland in Eisenstadt and "Translation" at the Karl-Franz University in Graz. Her master's dissertation "Terminology and Knowledge Management in the example of Strategic Business Unit ITS of the AVL List GmbH" was awarded the prize instituted by the Austrian Society for Documentation and Information (ÖGDI Österreichische Gesellschaft für Dokumentation und Information) in 2010 at the Austrian Online Information Documentation Specialists Meet (Österreichische Online-Informationstreffen und Österreichischen Dokumentartag, ODOK).
